Seminar: MA, MASS Zentralmodul (Struktur) // MES ZB Politik
Montag, , 11:15 - 12:45 Uhr, Ort: AM 202, Veranstaltungsbeginn: 08.04.2013
The class discusses pertinent approaches to social science methodology. It deals with different ideas of what social science is about, how to conduct it and what methods to use. The materials to be discussed include a wide variety of approaches covering normative and positive theory as well as qualitative and quantitative approaches. The goal of the class is to improve our understanding of the variety of social science approaches, to make a reflected choice among them and to know how to implement each of them. We will work continuously on individual projects, which all students are asked to develop and discuss during the class.
