  • Electoral success and political impact of radical right parties in Central-Eastern Europe (Focus: Hungary, Poland, Slovakia)
  • Development of party systems and societal change in Central-Eastern Europe
  • Processes of party competition (Focus: issue and frame ownership)
  • The enlargement of the European Economic and Currency Union (Focus: acceptance of the Euro in Central-Eastern Europe).
  • Qualitative methods: applications of computer assisted qualitative data analysis (CAQDA)
