The aim of the course is to introduce the students to key issues of politics, identity and relations with the EU of South Caucasusstates. We focus on questions such as: How do issues of identity influence foreign policy in post Soviet countries after the dissolutionof the USSR. How were national politics shaped in these former Soviet republics and what impact did the national policy dimensionhave on foreign policy priorities.
