The BA Seminar: Introduction to qualitative research and methods welcomes students interested on qualitative research in social and cultural sciences. The seminar has been developed to be both theoretical and practical, (learning about research design while designing research). The first part of the seminar will introduce key concepts in qualitative research, (e.g. case study, data collection and analysis), the second part will center on concrete techniques and methods of qualitative data collection such as non-participant observation and interviews, to finally on the third part have an overview of methods of data analysis.

Teilnahmevoraussetzungen:
Students are required to read the assigned texts for each session, as well as active participation in class, and handing in the exercises.
