The EU as a Political Community - Polity, Politics and Policies
Seminar: BA, Sozialwissenschaften-Vertiefung
Dienstag 11.15-12.45 Uhr, Ort: GD 06, Veranstaltungsbeginn: 03.04.2012
The class discusses recent analyses of the EU’s policies, politics and polity. By analysing its structures and processes, it addresses the broader question of what kind of political animal the EU is and whether it is adequately understood as a value-based community, as an intergovernmental regime or rather as a nation-state in statu nascendi.
