Viadrina Gesture Center
The Viadrina Gesture Centre (VGC), coordinated by Prof. Dr. Cornelia Müller, brings together gesture researchers from the European University Viadrina with researchers from the Berlin-Brandenburg region, other parts of Germany as well as Central Europe.
The purpose of the Viadrina Gesture Centre is to promote and enhance a linguistic approach to gestures. Through lectures, colloquia, and workshops the center aims at facilitating scientific exchange between researchers. By offering a platform for joint research and discussions on gestures, the center invites researchers to work towards an understanding of gestures as a medium of expression.
