Successful preparation of a seminar paper including an implementation of an optimization problem in C++ of 10-15 pages (and a 20-30 min. presentation of the results of the paper)

Aim of the module (expected learning outcomes and competencies to be acquired):
This seminar deepens the knowledge in C++ and its application for problems occurring in operations management. Students will learn how to implement heuristic and metaheuristic optimization methods.
Contents of the module:
- Introduction to metaheuristics
- Implementation of metaheuristics in C++
- Application of metaheuristics to various combinatorial optimization problems
