Habilitation

The following preconditions have to be fulfilled for being admitted to the habilitation procedure:

1. proof of a qualified PhD at a German or foreign university,
2. proof of "additional academic qualification" (meaning the necessary qualifications for being eligible for a professorship, through a substantial scientific contribution in the selected field of research which has been performed after the completion of the PhD),
3. proof of sufficient teaching experience after completion of the PhD,
4. an approving written assesssment regarding the request for admission to the habilitation procedure issued by a professor of the Faculty of Social and Cultural Sciences.
