On May 10th 2023, Prof Weber together with Michael Minkenberg and Eva Heidbreder, moderated by Sonja Priebus, will speak with author Jürgen Neyer about his book "Europa im Unfrieden. soziale Konflikte und politische Umwälzungen in der europäischen Geschichte und Gegegnwart" on an event by IFES . On May 08th 2023 at 6 pm, Prof Weber will talk with Gabriele Metzler on the topic "Krieg im Nachkrieg: Über das Verhältnisvon Frienden und Gewalt nach dem Kriegsende" in the Millitärhistorischen Museum Dresden, moderated by Claudia Kemper.  On May 4th 2023, Prof Claudia Weber will speak on the topic "Krieg der Kriegsverbrechen: Die Entdeckung der Gräber von Katyń" in the Villa ten Hompel in Münster.  On November 14th 2022, Dr Frysztacka will speak on the topic "Was muss sich nach der Zeitwende ändern? Zum Platz Ost-/Ostmitteleuropas auf der historisch-kulturellen Landkarte". Her presentation is part of the Symposium "Politische bildung und Internationale Schularbeit mit Ost-/Ostmitteleuropa. Internationale Lern- und Begenungsräume nach der 'Zeitwende'" organised by the Bundeszentrale für politische Bildung and the Kultusminsiter-Konferenz. On November 14th 2022 at 6 pm, Prof Wber will take part in the panel discussion „Auf dem linken Auge blind? Der Umgang mit dem Kommunismus im vereinten Deutschland“ organised by the Bundestiftung Aufarbeitung. Also part of the panel will be Dr Albrecht von Lucke (Berlin) and Prof Peter Steinbach (Berlin). The panel will discuss the place of communism and the SED dictatorship in German rememberance culture und the moderation of Dr Ulrich Mählert.

On September 6th, Prof Dr Claudia Weber recieved the Italian history award "Premio Friuli Storia" for her book „Il patto“ about the Hitler-Stalin-Pact. The Italian edition of Claudia Weber's book „Der Pakt. Hitler, Stalin und die Geschichte einer mörderischen Allianz“was picked by a juiry of around 500 readers.
