Workshop: Interaktion und Multimoedalität. Perspektiven aus und Analysen von multimodaler Interaktion in audiovisuellen Kontexten
After very insightful appearances as guest lecturers in our International Lecture Series hosted by the Viadrina Center for Gesture and Multimodality Studies the fruitful collaboration between Cornelia Müller’s Chair of Language Use and Multimodal Communication and Martin Luginbühl’s Chair of German Linguistics at the University of Basel continued in a two-day workshop organized by three of their doctoral students.
The Language Use and Multimodal Communication team had a blast visiting the University of Basel and taking part in the workshop "Interaktion und Multimœdialität. Perspektiven aus und Analysen von multimodaler Interaktion in audiovisuellen Kontexten" organized by Oliver Spiess, Clara Kindler-Mathot and Katerina Papadopoulou. In the context of the Multimœdialität Workshop both teams had the opportunity to each present in one day their respective approaches and current research projects. It was wonderful to listen to and get inspired by the talks on the intertwining of Interaction in Multimodality and Multimediality. It was a prime example of scientific exchange and prolific discussions!
