The Chair for Heritage Studies highlighted this academic year with its principal initiative, the Spring School Heritage Horizons 2025. Held in May, the programme was organised in partnership with the University of Belgrade, the Polytechnic University of Timișoara, and the University of Opole, and took place in Belgrade. Funded through the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP), this innovative academic endeavour brought together 23 students from Armenia, France, Germany, Japan, Palestine, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Uganda, and Vietnam.
Using the Banat region and its neighbouring territories as a case study, participants explored how shared heritage reflects both the interconnected pasts and the evolving identities of the region’s communities. The presentations from the Spring School Heritage Horizons 2025 represent the final outcome of the project and can be accessed in the following sections.
